Contribution - Camera Operator
Purple Stories partnered with BetFred to support the rollout of a new set of company behaviours, designed to strengthen culture during a period of rapid growth. After delivering weeks of in-person training with groups of employees, the next step was to produce a series of internal communication videos to reinforce the learning and ensure it could continue to reach staff across the business in the future.
I was brought in as camera operator for three days of interviews at BetFred’s newly renovated headquarters. Participants ranged from Fred Done, the founder, to shop floor staff, providing a genuine cross-section of voices from within the company. With the focus on authentic points of view, every interview was filmed with a two-camera setup to keep the visuals dynamic, especially as the content relied primarily on interview footage rather than b-roll.
